A debt relief site built around one calculation.
DebtFix settles unsecured debt for less than the full balance. The page had to answer one question before anything else: how much is this person paying now, and what would one program deposit be instead. Everything below that supports the answer.
- Design
- Front-end build
- Cost-of-debt calculator
- Debt relief

The brief
01 / 04Somebody with $20,000 of card debt does not read a page. They look for their own number in it. So the whole page is one comparison, with trust proof stacked underneath.
- One actionA slider, two figures, one button. No form before the payoff.
- Their numberThe output changes with the slider, so the visitor sees themselves in it.
- No false promise"Estimates from our plan model, not a quote" sits under the figure.
What I built
02 / 04- The homepageHero comparison, how-it-works steps, testimonial, and the accreditation and account-safety proof a debt company needs to convert.
- The calculatorA separate cost-of-debt page for people who want to work it out properly before they talk to anyone.
- The pages around itAbout, how it works, articles, and the contact path, all sharing one header and calculator link.
The calculator
03 / 04A visitor adds each debt they hold: name, balance, APR, monthly payment. The output is total interest scheduled and months to payoff at the payment they are already making, before they speak to a salesperson. That is the honest framing, and it is also the argument for the product.
| Input | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Balance, APR | Required per debt row. Rows can be added for each card or loan. |
| Monthly payment | Typed by the visitor, or switched to the issuer minimum. |
| Minimum payment | 4% of the current balance or $25, whichever is greater, recalculated every month as the balance falls. |
| Output | Total interest and payoff date at the current payment, so the visitor sees the cost of standing still. |
What's live
04 / 04Both pages are in production and can be checked directly.
Two things I did not measure and so do not claim: conversion rate before and after, and a paid-hours figure. Any programme cost a visitor sees comes from DebtFix's own plan model, not from me.
